About

Sarah Bevin is a visual artist living and working in Barcelona.

The majority of Bevin’s work is on paper and varies in size. She uses a combination of materials such as collage, watercolour, gouache, soft pastel, charcoal and ink in her pieces, endowing them with multiple textures and contrast. The use of collage provides three dimensionality as well as allowing the artist to experiment with pattern and form.

The artwork is often based around people's interaction with the natural world: a beautiful but fragile symbiotic relationship whose importance and relevance has become more far-reaching than ever before.

She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Art and Art History  from the University of Aberystwyth, Wales and a Masters in Design for the Environment from Chelsea School of Art, University of London.
